Create a Future
Economic security is a cornerstone of women’s autonomy, safety, and long-term well-being. Without reliable income, many women are forced to remain in unsafe environments, accept exploitative work, or rely on systems that limit their independence and choice.

Prakasa’s Create a Future program supports women in building sustainable pathways to financial self-sufficiency through skills training, entrepreneurship education, and personal empowerment development.

Through community-based programs, women gain:
• sewing and tailoring skills
• small business and financial literacy training
• confidence-building and leadership development
Together, these tools equip women to generate income in ways that are flexible, dignified, and responsive to their local context.
Women who complete the program are supported to:
• establish their own small businesses
• secure employment in local tailoring shops
• engage in home-based or cooperative income-generating work

By increasing access to income, women gain greater control over their resources, decisions, and futures.
Access to income increases choice.
Increased choice strengthens agency, safety, and dignity.
The impact reaches beyond individual participants — contributing to improved well-being for women, greater stability for their children, and stronger, more resilient communities over time.
